Levon Walkin
Levon Walkin has been a fixture on the Hot Springs, Arkansas, for more years than he cares to count. His front porch pickin’ style and unique vocals can be heard as many as six nights a week during most of the year. Walkin’ is the true working man’s musician.
Walkin has a number of original tunes to his credit and seems to know an unlimited amount of covers. Along with being a solid solo artist, Walkin’ has been known to share the stage in several duo roles with a number of local favorites. His most recent collaborations include Walkin the Ball with Kathy Ball and the popular combination of Dicus-Walkin featuring Rick "Rowdy" Dicus.
Walkin has four CD’s to his credit, Trails Left, Walkin the Ball w/ Kathy Ball, Sweet ‘n’ Low Down w/ Jerry Jines and Back To Tulsa w/ Rowdy Dicus. He is also finishing production of a live CD, recorded during the 2005 hot Springs Blues Festival Club Crawl.
This unassuming guitar picker with the "Aw, shucks" demeanor plays well to almost any audience, whether they want to hear country or blues or classic rock.
